Talking with Oscar Winning Producer, Gerald R. Molen (LISTEN)

It was a special treat to interview my friend, Oscar-Winning producer, Gerald R. Molen. Molen and I have known each other for nearly a decade and I consider him a friend and mentor. He rarely gives interviews but I thought it would be interesting for my listeners, especially those who are aspiring filmmakers to hear how he began his career literally from the bottom to forging his way working with the likes of Steven Spielberg.

In fact, he has worked with Spielberg on many a films including Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Little Rascals, Minority Report and of course the Oscar-winning, Schindler's List.

In my four part interview with Molen, he goes on to tell us what it was like to work with Whoopi, Oprah and Danny Glover in the early days, how he almost gave up on becoming a producer, working with Hitchcock, his advice to young filmmakers and so much more.
