To borrow from the wisdom of Mister Rogers, "confronting our feelings and giving them appropriate expression always takes strength, not weakness." So bravo to brave 4-year-old Andrew Macias. When a KTLA 5 News reporter asked the boy if he was excited to start pre-kindergarten, at first the little guy seemed thrilled. But then the reporter pressed further asking if Macias would miss his mom. A wave of reality washed over him turning his giggles into devastating sadness and sobbing. The video of Macias has since gone viral and has been seen by more than 15 million people. (Macias' mom gave her boy a reassuring hug right after. And the reporter since said that she felt awful for upsetting the child.)

Feeling a strong sense of solidarity with young Macias, comedians Nicky Paris and Kelley Lord have released their own a funny parody of the back-to-school Andrew Macias video. The parody video, which focuses on a more grown-up problem (spoiler alert!) student loans, kicks off the Nick and Kelley Show. The weekly variety program launches on Youtube next week.
