I stopped into the Apple store to get some info about using the iPad in the kitchen. I was very skeptical of the idea. When I cook -- like most I think -- I spill, I drip and I get my hands wet and sticky. There's nothing like a sopping wet $500 toy.
After inquiring to several Apple guys, there was finally one who had some answers. I had asked about wrapping it in plastic wrap: Would the touch screen still work? Would the plastic melt from the small amount of heat emitted from the device?
With some help from the cute Apple guy, I came up with a little guide to navigating cooking and eating with the iPad. Pixely delicious!
