The first day is in the books on KicKTV's Euro Trip 2012 or, as I like to call it, "Jimmy Conrad's Excellent Soccer Adventure!" My first stop was the National Stadium, a brand new and beautiful stadium that was built just for Euro 2012, and is designed to look like a waving Polish flag.

After that, I hit the accreditation center to get my media credential to make things official and...I...was...approved! Which means they clearly don't do background checks.

Once I had that formal piece of paper strewn around my neck, I canvassed the area surrounding the stadium and reacquainted myself with the Polish people after 12 years since my last visit. And, once again, I learned that the Poles are really friendly people. I made a new friend after only five minutes! His name is Piotr and he has a YouTube channel too and he told me the same advice I seem to be getting from everyone here: Get myself a Polish women and get drunk. After only one day, it's obvious that Euro 2012 is going to be one big party so let the debauchery begin!

Okay, I'm off to meet some Polish women (tell my wife it's for work purposes) and sample some Polish beers. And study my media guide for the Poland-Greece match. You try saying Jakub Błaszczykowsk and Sokratis Papastathopoulos
