So as most readers know by now, all charges we dismissed against the Duke Lacrosse players, who it would seem, were wrongfully accused. There is lots of talk on the rightwing blogs about how this country owes them an apology and what a huge tragedy it is for those three players. To my mind, the bigger tragedy is all of the people in this country that are wrongfully accused everyday and can't afford the high price lawyers that the Duke students could afford.

Being wrongfully accused of a crime is an everyday occurrence in the country - the tragedy comes from all of the people that have had to serve jail time, and are sitting in jail today, for crimes they didn't commit.
