The incorporeal life essence of recently deceased art rock legend David Bowie has a message for fans who are so devastated by his passing that they are scouring the Internet for every lost outtake and bootleg iteration of a Bowie song in existence: Don't. "If you're a fan," said spirit Bowie, "then you know how much the integrity of my work meant to me--not including the stuff from the mid '80s, of course--so please, stick to the catalog and stop dredging up all the crap that failed to make the cut for good reason. And for the love of God, stop isolating my vocal tracks--if I had wanted to do an a cappella album, there would already be one in your collection. Besides, how do you think the incorporeal life essence of Mick Ronson feels having fans play "Starman" without the guitar tracks?"
