Congressman Jim Gerlach is like a cat with nine lives. He keeps his seat by the skinniest of margins and this year faces a challenger from the swing county of the 6th CD: Berks. This sprawling Congressional District begins at City Line Avenue bordering Philadelphia and reaches to Kutztown in Pennsylvania Dutch Country 70 miles distant. It covers the Main Line, Chester County hunt country and half of the decrepit city of Reading. Somehow he keeps fighting off challengers.

This year Manan Trivedi, a physician and Iraq War veteran from Fleetwood, Pennsylvania is his opponent after vanquishing Doug Pike by the narrowest of margins in a Democratic primary. He was with one of the first American forces that entered Iraq. Trivedi is one of what Joe Ferraro calls the "Sestak Clones," Iraq War vets running strong Democratic campaigns.

Can he skin Jim Gerlach alive this time or will the cat escape with one more life?
