Goonies never say die, and there's no quit in Miesa. The talented R&B singer is continually honing her craft - even taking voice lessons today despite the fact her vocals could melt butter.
The 24-year-old budding pop star is sort of bringing R&B back into the forefront - though if you're smart and you're "in the know," you know the genre never really left. That said, the artist - born to a Haitian mother and a Filipino father - is rocking R&B like '80s kids rocked New Coke. OK, perhaps the latter was a bit off. Anyway, back to the start. Miesa was signed by Siri Music Group based off the strength of her vocals, and has already opened for everyone from Tamar Braxton to Kelly Clarkson. As she finalizes her solo album, she's given us a taste with a single in the form of the buzzworthy "Too Bad For You." That song propelled her to be named a TIDAL "Rising Artist." Not too shabby.
