I spoke to Drew Brees from the Delta 360 Sky Lounge at the Stadium, and asked him how this off season has been, and where he sees the Saints marching this fall.

Purdue legend. Comeback and offensive player of the year respectively in 2004 and 2008. Super Bowl XLIV MVP a few months back. Madden NFL '11 cover boy. Yep, New Orleans Saints' quarterback, Drew Brees, has accomplished quite a lot in his career, but his calling is fatherhood first, football second. It's pretty clear that statement's true by just meeting the dude for a five-minute interview like I did recently or playing back those post-game highlights of him watching son Baylen enjoying the confetti in South Florida last February.

Fittingly, Brees spent Father's Day in a hybrid world with Baylen in his arms in-front of a sold-out stadium crowd. On June 20, the QB was at Yankee Stadium with his son and wife Brittany to throw out the first pitch, and promote Pampers with Dry Max. Typically one would expect a grown man to shy away from publicly supporting diapers, but Brees is that brand's pitchman and proud of it. In the midst of the diaper duty and prior to a Mark Teixeira grand-slam sidelining the New York Mets, I spoke to Brees from the Delta 360 Sky Lounge at the Stadium, and asked him how this off season has been, and where he sees the Saints marching this fall. I also inquired if fame has gone to Baylen's head...
