Priscilla cross dressers used it like a catwalk. Jon Cryer ran down it, I'm sure, to avoid more dopey Charlie Sheen questions. And Alec Baldwin made his way on it by dodging questions of a possible New York mayoral run. It was the red carpet of the 65th Annual Tony Awards, and aside from a few stars who avoided reporters like Anthony Weiner after another Twitter bender, it was almost as exciting as the past Broadway season itself.

Yep, the economy may still be in the crapper, but Broadway is enjoying a fruitful year thanks to celebrated shows like The Book of Mormon, The Normal Heart, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and even the much talked about Spider-Man, which continues to make money no matter who gets hurt.
