ALL of this is conjecture, and Keith like Conan is under a gag restriction about the details, and when he is able to be interviewed. So until Keith is able to speak, we really won't know anything factual.

i recall a few weeks back during one of his shows he spoke frankly and gave his opinion of the comcast deal and he didn't mince words, it was made clear from his point of view it was a deal with the devil. i don't agree with anyone 100% of the time, not even myself, lol, i didn't watch keith with the expectation of agreeing with him all of the time on all issues rather for his ability to pick the salient issue/s of the day and clearly lay out why those were important to his viewing audience. hard to work with? in the world of celebrity and big media who isn't but you need to look at the whole picture, what else does that person bring to the table? and does what they bring outweigh any other issues which may or may not exist? i will miss his ability to make one think and at times re-evaluate ones own position. i will miss how he never dumbed down the conversation as so many other media types do. i will also miss his ability to use the media against itself. all those clips of politicians, pundits, etc. catching them in the act contradicting themselves over and over again, i think i will miss that most. satellite radio execs are likely crunching some numbers and scenarios right about now and hopefully soon he will return to the public arena one way or another.

I was just remembering when Richard Clark, Clinton and Bush's terrorism expert, was giving his congressional testimony about how the Bush white house ignored all warnings of 911, COMCAST (at least here in southern Florida) completely blacked out the screen and audio for almost the entirety of his testimony. It was so obvious. It was creepy. Its' the same thing china, etc. does. Now COMCAST/republicans have NBC, and Olbermann is gone in less than a week. We are canceling our Comcast subscription.

From what I read, I would guess that NBC told him to play nice for his new stepmother Comcast, and Keith suggested they do something unnatural to themselves, and they said "Oh yeah?" And he said "Oh Yeah?" And it went something like that.

Lawrence O'Donnell won't be able to fill Olbermann's shoes, that's for sure. And Ed Schultz, who's probably the next one to go, got relegated to 10pm like he's a late night comedian. Chris Matthews has that Philly connection with Comcast, so his job's safe.

Lets all have some fun on Keith's expense. Just think? Keith just joined the ranks of the unemployed welcome. I'm sure his severance pay is a lot more than ours but he will be missed !!!!!! I will need to find a new show to watch......
