Yesterday morning I appeared on Sporting News national radio with Raheel Ramzanali and David Nuno to break down the NBA Finals.
Specifically, I talked about how Miami is going to use a multitude of defenders to contain Dirk Nowitzki; namely, Udonis Haslem, Chris Bosh and even LeBron James late in games.
I also talked about the significance of Mike Miller emerging as a fourth scorer on the perimeter for the Heat, and the role that both he, and long range poacher James Jones could play against the vaunted Mavs zone. After all, such a defensive scheme propelled Dallas to a 2-0 record versus the Heat in the regular season.
