Sleep is the best energy revitalizer around. We all need it, and our bodies work most efficiently when we have about eight hours of it a day. During sleep our cells repair our bodies.

The big question: What if we have a problem falling asleep? For more than 20 years I have found a process that works every time for me. I ask every part of my body to relax, open, and heal. I start with my toes, arches in my feet, my heels, ankles, calves, shins, knees, thighs, back, stomach, organs, spine, lungs, shoulders, biceps, forearms, wrists, hands, fingertips, neck, back of my head, my brain, eyes, nose, mouth, my heart, and my soul. I focus on my breath, and I fall asleep. Many times I fall asleep before I even get half way through this process.

So, next time you are in bed unable to sleep try this process out. You have nothing to lose; only sleep to gain, and God knows we need more of it!
