Kerry 's "joke" reminds us of the other truth -George W never went to war as a young man and poorly served in the reserves. But George W was born with a silver dollar for a brain, a family's wealth and connections so average George never went to Vietnam. I hate it when the rich get short-changed from serving because of those icky class and money issues. And the meddling of helicopter parents. Hate when that happens. Poor George.
For many Americans, joining the military is a job and an economic reality while serving proudly. Joining the military is an opportunity to go to school. I know, my brother joined at 18.
If Bush disagrees with Kerry why doesn't he give this wonderful, patriotic opportunity of war to protect us from nonexistent weapons to his daughters? Why aren't his twins proudly serving in Iraq? Why isn't Cheney's daughter taking this wonderful opportunity to serve?
No, it isn't a joke, George. It is the truth when Senator Kerry said "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
George is stuck in Iraq. President Bush is so upset, so angry, so mad because Kerry's comments are true. As they say in the program, George "Spot it. You got it." President Bush should consider Kerry's comments to heart and mind.
If only George became educated on the issues instead of going on vacation. If only George made the most of his opportunities in diplomacy instead of alienating many of our allies. If only George did his homework to learn there were no weapons of mass destruction, we wouldn't have spent hundreds of billions of dollars on an ineffectual war. If only George had made an effort to make smart policy, we wouldn't be in this mess. If only we didn't have a an idiot on duty, in denial of his failure in Iraq, maybe thousands of troops would not have died or returned maimed, crippled or paralyzed. But no, George didn't educate himself. George is STUCK IN IRAQ with his head stuck up his ass in denial and incompetence.
George, why do you say you are supporting the troops while more and more of our youth die?
