Me on the table at my two-year-old birthday party in Damascus - Syria.

Mr. Trump: My Mother and Sister in Syria are not Terrorists.

What does it mean if the Muslim ban is reinstated?

It means I will never be able to bring my mother and sister here from war-torn Syria.

It means the hope I had for getting them out of that country, embroiled in a war the entire world is ignoring, has now evaporated. Syria could very well be another Holocaust in the making, yet everyone is watching. Where are the saviors?

I am well aware the people we would be saving are mostly Muslim. But wait, aren’t all Muslims terrorists?

That’s what anyone would think who owns a television or knows how to read. Every time the word “Islam” is mentioned, the word “terrorism” is not too far behind.

Attached are a couple of pictures from my childhood. Do those images look like they have anything to do with terrorism? The first time I saw the words “Islam” and “terrorism” together was when I came to the United States in 1984.

The Muslim ban you want to impose will do nothing to protect our country, the United States. On the contrary, it will fuel hatred and provide plenty of propaganda for ISIS and other hate groups, which, by the way, have nothing to do with Islam. They call themselves Muslims; they pretend to fight Jihad, or holy war; but they are truly people with twisted minds performing twisted acts in the name of a religion that has the biggest public relations problem on this planet.

Jihad was the internal struggle Muhammed had with temptations. It is misconstrued to mean holy war against anyone who is different by ideologies that use Islam to galvanize brainwashed fighters willing to die for a distorted cause.

Those brainwashed killers love the Muslim ban. It provides them with a rationale for spreading their message: “Americans hate us; Americans want us to stay away; Americans despise us.” Ultimately, by igniting their inner turmoil, your Muslim ban could only trigger more hatred.

Now, if you do believe in a God or Allah (same thing BTW), you should know He is weeping over His name being used for terror, to kill the innocent, and against what He truly stands for: love.

Only love will fight racism, prejudice, bigotry, intolerance, and discrimination.

Only love will allow human beings to grow old and walk together hand-in-hand into the sunset.

Love is what we must use to fight ignorance.

We must teach our children to love instead of fight, to love instead of fear, and to love instead of hate.

Mr. Trump: try love. It’s terrific, its amazing, huge, fantastic, and the best. It’s very very classy, and great — really great. ISIS fighters are total losers and morons, way overrated.

Try tweeting this love quote by a writer of old. You may have heard of him. His name is William Shakespeare. He’s amazing, tremendous, he’s great — really great. He was not a total loser, and he had cool hair. Anyway, here’s the fantastic quote; it’s tremendous:

“Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.”

That includes my mother and sister.
