Team USA Hotties

Ahh, the wonderful world of the Winter Olympics. While not the Summer Skin-o-lympics, it's hard to ignore the appeal of a fine-tuned man (or woman) in a skintight speedskating ensemble. Not to mention those luge get-ups...grrrrr.

This year's Team USA will not disappoint! Bodies like Adonises flying through the air on skis, ice dancers who look like Sports Illustrated babes -- what a fine nation we hail from.

The 216 athletes - including 123 men and 93 women -- of Team USA all have their special something. We have twins! We have two 40-year-olds, six moms, 17 dads, and six athletes with ties to the military. And then of course there are some that go above and beyond in the yes, very superficial category of Olympic hotties! Here are my picks for America's best eye candy during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Go USA!

I know this isn't very patriotic of me, but there's an Austrian curler who is bringing sexy to curling in a serious way. Curling is becoming a farce of itself. People prefer it to all other winter olympics purely as a platform for joking on that which is not understood. That said, curler lady is tingly.

I love the Olympics! It's great that every two years we can watch America's finest compete against the rest of the world. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't slap my friend's back and say, "That chick is hot...where is she from? Germany? Really?" The unfortunate thing about the Winter Olympics, as Ms. Tanabe eluded to, is that many of the warm-climate countries are underrepresented. Even though it's nice to watch Allison Baver brave the short track, I prefer sporting events that are a little less Nordic. Two more years until Synchronized Swimming!
