You're Going to Want to Make Out with Whoever Designed These Pants

To be fair, I am probably THE target audience for these designers: I still have the post-baby bulge around my stomach, I value comfort pretty much above all else and, most of all, I'm super lazy. As such, these pants practically sing to me. The pairs I'm most drawn to have elastic waistbands, just enough give, hit me perfectly at the ankles and are, for the most part, machine washable.

So who's behind them? As we learned from good ole Meryl in "The Devil Wears Prada," the fashion industry has a trickle-down effect. So if that means I have to go make out with Anna Wintour, herself, so be it. I'm just so happy knowing that I have all fall -- and then some -- to wear these pants with boots, flats, hell, even slippers.

While I've found my favorites at all the usual haunts -- J.Crew, Urban Outfitters, The Gap -- there are plenty to go around. FYI, when looking online, they're usually listed as track pants or under "casual" pants.

Here are my favorites --some I've purchased, some I'll just gawk at from afar -- for fall.
