Remember, even if it doesn't feel like it, humanity is walking closer to healing ... and as we heal ourselves we will heal the world.

If you're feeling heartbroken after the US election, I just want to say ... we will be ok. You will be ok.

This election has bought up a lot of emotions for so many people. There is a great deal of fear. I can feel it too.

But don't be afraid. The darkness coming to light is an essential part of healing. This is as true for humanity as it is for the individual.

I know to many this situation feels hopeless, but believe me when I say this is the beginning of hope. We are witnessing the breakdown so we can be a part of the breakthrough. It is always darkest before the dawn.

In our shared consciousness, there is still so much that needs to heal. As a group, humanity still needs to develop deeply. And that is ok.

Because we can't heal the parts of us that are hidden. We can't move through what we can't see. We can only heal when we bring our fear, pain and dis-ease to light. It's the same process for the individual as it is for collective.

So let me plant this seed with you ... even if it doesn't feel like it, humanity is on the path to healing.

If you feel scared or afraid for what this election means, vow to stand for love and not fall into fear. Trust that YOU still have all you need to live a happy and thriving life. That lies inside you.

This election has awoken many of us to what we believe and what we feel the world needs to look like. I encourage you to take those feelings that are rising up in your heart and look for the ways you can turn them into a positive impact in the world. Action matters.

Martin Luther King Jr's words ring in my ears this morning...

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." - Martin Luther King Jr.

Vow to be a light in this broken world. Your contribution is important, and it starts with healing yourself.

What happens outside of you does not have to extinguish your inner peace. Don't let it.

Remember, even if it doesn't feel like it, humanity is walking closer to healing ... and as we heal ourselves we will heal the world.

We will be ok.
