It's probably more profitable for them to use chicken than bread.
Due to the scandalous and inhumane way that industrial chicken farming is conducted in this country, the price of chicken is ridiculously and artificially low.
Of course we all pay the price for this, sooner or later. Inhumane treatment of animals demeans us as a society. And use of antibiotics and other drugs means drug resistant microbes are out there.
What the heck is in between those two chicken breasts?

A heart attack.
I am a dyed in the wool meat lover but replacing bread with fried chicken is spooky.
It's mindbendingly correct. Who needs bread?
Next: two pieces of fried chicken holding a cheeseburger pattie.
Looks like a poor man's chicken corndon bleu to me.
Come on down to kentucky! You, too, can have a doublewide @ss like three quarters of the people who live here!! Thanks, Colonel!
The whole country is full of fatazzes.
I'm glad to see KFC bowing to health concerns by eliminating those murderous buns.
Can't wait to try it!
Plain, or with Lipitor?
Homer Simpson must be stoked!
To my friend computercats, don't use PETA as a gateway for information. PETA was caught killing all of it's animals rather than putting them up for adoptionn. PETA is just another money taking, headline grabbing organization that fleeces people out of their money. Please support the ASPCA, that actually helps animals.
PETA's goal is to stop ANY human/animal interactions. No pets, so no adoption, no food animals, no farmers, no test animals,(which I am not really happy with either), no beast of burden of course. Just another group of fanatics unwilling to see another view point.
link please.
I stopped eating at KFC long ago - they mistreat chickens beyond cruel. They're the factory farming version of the holocaust; KFC is the death camp of chickens. I'm a semi meat eater, but there's no good reason in this world to torture animals for the sake of a cheap meal. It's no lie or distortion. Look it up on countless sites, newspapers, magazines and here:

So in college the dorms would serve corn chowder on the weekends which consisted of all the leftovers. KFC does the same thing with its -- I don't know what it is called -- Bowl O' Stuff that has bits of chicken, corn, potatoes, cheese and gravy. I'm surprised that it doesn't have cole slaw and crumbled biscuits or does it?
That would be the Heart Attack Express.
Looks kinda gross to me.
I stopped going to KFC because everytime I went there it seemed they ran out of their grilled chicken. This wasn't just this one particular KFC either. Now, this. Let's face it, KFC likes it fat and greasy.
LOL! Amen brother!
It should come with a defibrillator.
