Does Nadya Suleman Think She's Angelina Jolie?

What's Your Reaction?

?>

UPDATE:
Nadya Suleman addressed the Angelina Jolie chatter during a "Dateline" special Tuesday night. "I have never even thought of Angelina Jolie, except the last time I saw a movie," Suleman told Ann Curry. "I think that was like years ago. This is so far away from the place I'm in right now, to think of any celebrity." She also denied having any plastic surgery. Asked if she'd had her lips done, Suleman replied, "No, no."

I think she's lying.

Does octo-mom Nadya Suleman think she's Angelina Jolie?

Both women are 33 and are mothers to arguably, at least for now, the two most famous broods in the world. They also survived divorce, longed for children and chose to become single parents.

Consider this: In photos of Suleman pre-octuplets out Monday, she looks noticeably different. She has had what appears to be lip implants or filler injections to pump up her pucker. She's also evidently had a nose job. Both nose and lips now mimic the features of Jolie, as others have pointed out. Scroll for photos and a closer look. Suleman already had brown eyes and has now grown her dark brown hair all the way down her back.

But beyond the physical, Suleman chose Ann Curry to break her media silence. Curry has long been Jolie's go-to girl and has flown around the world for multiple interviews with the movie star, including to Cannes and to Namibia while Jolie was pregnant with Shiloh. Scroll down for photos of just a few of the Jolie exclusives. Curry flew to California for the octuplet scoop.

Sure it's just speculation, and I don't know Suleman. But, I've read everything about her and I'm both fascinated and outraged by the story. She's struggled with mental illness before her octuplet pregnancy, she's on food stamps, three of her first six children receive disability payments, and she didn't tell her mother, with whom she lives, about the $167,000 in disability payments she herself received.

And I think Nadya Suleman believes she is like Angelina Jolie.

Here is Suleman on Today:

And here are some of Curry's interviews with Jolie:

This Nadya Suleman wishes she looks like Angelina.. spending all of her borrowed money on trying to appear looking like someone else... I only hope that she is a good mother to her children without taking freebees from the state and government...she is in my prayers..

As a professional impersonator, I'll lay out the steps to become someone else and take over their life without bringing any kids into the world.
Study the person's hairstyle, makeup, walk, mannerisms, talking, clothing and fashion and practice copying them.
Find clothes, jewelry and makeup that look very expensive but really aren't. Most people won't know the difference. Theaters get ballgowns that look like designer gowns worn at the Oscars for $15 from a thrift shop.
If you get plastic surgery, make sure you show the surgeon the picture of the person you want to look like. Stage makeup can go a long way so plastic surgery may not be necessary.
Study the acting roles the person does then take acting classes and do those scenes and monologues.
Get headshots and a modeling portfolio of yourself looking exactly like that person. Put them on a web site and send them to casting directors and agents, especially ones that work with the person you want to be. Put these pics all over the Internet.
If you need to be seen with a guy or with kids, hire some actors to play the role for the appearances.
Do gigs as the person you're trying to be for friends parties, at clubs and bars, etc. even if they don't pay.
Go somewhere where no one knows you and practice being that person or that person's double. Write out a life story for who you're becoming, learn it and make that past your own.

This whole thing is just very sad. A lot of the responsibility lies in the hands of the doctor in this case- I feel like Nadya is just too unstable to make decisions for herself.

Angelina has to be laughing,...really. But not to cry. It's sad for these kids. What great danger thier doctor / mother put them in. She's nutty for sure and bears only a vague yet haunting resmblence to Angelina, and so what!?

Sometimes an event occurs that is too complex for catch phrases and one liners, or even comparisons.
The only relevant comment have heard on this subject is..."I want to be, on cable TV, in the Octomamma's jargon, getting paid." And that is only meaningful if sung to the tune of the Ringo Starr song Octopuss's Garden. The fact is that our society encourages people to have the freedom that results in taxpayers paying millions of dollar for the care of multiple birth children. Is that entirely bad?
Should we go back to the Chinese communist model of one child or the gulag? Freedom has a price, and in this case the price is paid by the taxpayer.

I've never once heard Angelina Jolie ask the public for monetary assistance to raise any of her children.

That other woman has issues far beyond the grasp of even the best psychiatrists.

She's a very weird form of cultural crazy. But we must not forget other kinds of crazy mothers.

There are drug addicts and alcoholics that do not stop their habits while they are pregnant. And even worse, they continue to have baby after baby the same way. Doctors and hospitals see this all the time.

What do we do as a society about those mothers? What can we do about welfare frauds, like this looney, who make the choice of bringing 8 preemies into the world, at health risks that will follow them all their lives -- no different than the babies born with alcohol fetal syndrome, and the ones born addicted to crack.

8 preemies just because this woman wanted a TV show and to imitate Angelina Jolie.

One word:

CRAZY.
09:04 AM on 02/15/2009
Impregnating/implanting a single, poor woman with a history of mental illness, who already has six children, with 8 (or more---8 is merely the number which survived) embryos at once has to be considered harmful to the patient, if not to what would become babies after their birth.

Physicians take an oath to "first do no harm". This physician appears to be in violation of the oath he took.

Why does such a doctor still have a license to practice?
