Hereditary breast cancer is identified with the BRCA 1 and 2 mutations. Ancestry is importance and an exploration of the maternal and paternal  history of diseases. 

Dr. Smith explains that a woman's personal hormonal history -- age of menarche, and menopause, childbearing and breast feeding reflect estrogen exposure can be as important as family history.
