With Mother's Day just around the corner, millions of mothers, daughters, sons and husbands are searching for gifts more meaningful than chocolate. Finding that special way to thank the women in your life is important, but it can have more than just a personal meaning, too. After all, we are really celebrating more than just the women in our lives. We're celebrating the lives of women - all we have achieved and all we have yet to do.

This year, Legal Momentum - the nation's oldest legal advocate for women and a leader in the women's movement for more than 35 years - has a new way for women to come together and celebrate where we have been and where we are going.

It's an innovative new book - Women: A Celebration of Strength. The unique book chronicles and celebrates the history of American women, and includes essays by bestselling author Anna Quindlen and inspiring Oprah Book Club author Edwidge Danticat.

Women: A Celebration of Strength also highlights current challenges facing women, and will serve to invigorate a new, national dialogue on the future of American women. Take a look inside: the book offers a fresh, inventive format with three-dimensional images, copies of important American historical documents and letters, vivid color photos, and personal stories of famous and everyday women illustrating our achievements in all walks of life, victories in Congress and the courts, and the next frontiers for American women. The book is a wonderful keepsake and tribute to all of the special and remarkable women in our lives.

Legal Momentum is proud to offer Women: A Celebration of Strength as a way to inspire conversations about the future. It's a chance to acknowledge the achievements of the past. Proceeds from the book support Legal Momentum's ongoing work on behalf of all women, including mothers, victims of domestic violence and women working to achieve economic equality.
