Devil's Nation is waiting for the return of VH1's hit sports drama "Hit The Floor." The highly anticipated third season, following the team and dancers of the fictional Los Angeles Devils, returns to hopefully answer some of the burning questions that left many of with mouths open on the edge of our seat. Season two closed out with a killer revealed in assistant coach, German (Jonathan McDaniel). Asha (Taylour Paige) decided to leave the drug using Derrick Roman (McKinley Freeman) behind. Star player Terrance Wall (Robert Christopher Riley) broke a bone in his leg. Devil girl Kyle (Katherine Bailess) and lounge manager Raquel (Valery Ortiz) decided to get hitched. Oscar (Don Stark) went off to jail, while his son Jude (Brent Antonello), zeroed in on hottie newcomer, Zero (Adam Senn). Lionel (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) married Oscar and took control of the team. Jelena (Logan Browning) seems to be getting everything that she wants. Sloane (Kimberly Elise) is in the cross-hairs of both Lionel and Jelena but she's moving on with Pete Davenport (Dean Cain), the head coach of the Devils.

Season three on all accounts according promotional material is expected to be "out of bounds" for everyone. I wanted to know just how out of bounds the season is going to be so I sat down with Dean Cain (of TV's Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman). Cain, who tells me he enjoys every moment of playing Pete Davenport, talked with me about season three.

KM: Dean, so good to have you here! Let's start with Pete and Sloane, they appear to be very happy in the start of season three (Disclaimer: I've already seen the episode) is it finally the right time for Pete and Sloane?

DC: "It could be; you know Sloane is taking over the world and she's getting tough. It's been a nice transition for Kimberly to play that character. She is such a great actress. So much fun to work opposite of her, you know Pete and Sloane are starting to work it out a bit. But you know, the actress playing my ex-wife takes over the squad and I think it's safe to say hijinks will ensued without a doubt. "

KM: Yes, Lionel does take over the team and how does Pete adjust to that?

DC: "We see that play out over the season and I will just say he does not adjust well to it. He does not! It's not okay for her to be in the position to be the shot caller, this is what he does and he knows it well and she knows how to push his buttons and she will push them. Even more than that she will go after Sloane and obviously there is going to be some animosity there. Catfight and then some."

KM: Pete and Lionel got it on and there was a baby and then a miscarriage, does Sloane know about this?

DC: "No, she has no clue! She has had to deal with some indiscretions from Pete before and I don't think she would be shocked. She wouldn't be happy with him but she wouldn't be stunned."

KM: As a fan the relationship between Pete and Asha is weird, your relationship is strained, will we get to see more of the father, daughter relationship."

DC: "It is a weird one because how do you wake up one day and have a 21-year-old. It's tough because you're distant and trying to form that bound and Pete is not so good at that. Plus she happens to sometimes date my star player and then there's more weirdness and I know what he's up to and what that life is like. We will learn a little bit more about Pete and Asha but it is a strained relationship."

KM: One of your assistant coaches, German is walking around with a huge secret. Does Pete find out or anyone else?

DC: "I will say this; it is hard to keep secrets around the arena, so the fans will have to stay tuned each week."

KM: How crazy, how intense, how out of bounds is season three?

DC: "Season three is ridiculous; it's completely out of bounds all the time, literally almost every character. Everybody is open game, its fair game and anything can happen. Things can change without notice. Whatever the viewer thinks might happen probably will times ten,"
