HuffPost readers are nothing if not the types who will willingly outsmart themselves. So you'll like this contest from Smith Magazine, creators of the Six-Word Memoir project, and Significant Objects, a weird, wonderful new project from Joshua Glenn and NYT Mag's Consumed columnist Rob Walker.

Here's how it works: 1) Check out this random object we found at a thrift store (via the link below). 2) Create a story about in in 6 words. 3) We choose a winning 6-word story. 4) The story, along with the object, will then be auctioned on eBay. 5) The winning six-word writer gets to keep all the loot. 6) Fun, right?
