New Years Eve Party Planning Ideas

New Years Eve is just days away! If you are opting out of the over-the-top party this year and entertaining friends and family at home, I've rounded up a few New Years Eve party-planning musts.

1. A Custom New Years Eve Party Invitation. Party planning comes down to the details. There's no better way to impress your guests than with a custom party invitation to your New Years Eve bash. Whether you prefer Paperlesspost.com or a custom note, the invitation is the first thing that sets the mood to your party. I am a huge fan of NicoandLala.com for custom invitations and event branding details.

2. Garland. My second tip and trick to party planning is garland. You can spell out "Happy New Year" in gold glitter or I also love tassel garland. Either option can make a great backdrop for photos as well as add an extra element of glam. Etsy is a great destination for party garlands no matter what the occasion.

3. An Elegant Centerpiece. The centerpiece is my favorite element of any dinner party. Fresh blooms are a simple yet elegant way to help set the table. Another easy centerpiece trick is to layout various sized candles in the center of the table. I love these gold glitter pillars from Pier 1.

4. Champagne. No New Years Eve party is complete without champagne! Try using adhesive glue and dipping the champagne bottle gold glitter for extra sparkle.

5. Celebratory Balloons. If balloons don't say party, I don't know what does! Up the festive-factor with these "Pop Fizz Clink" balloons from Etsy shop, the Flair Exchange.
