College Students: Nominate Someone For HuffPost's 'Greatest Person' Series!

In September, HuffPost College and Her Campus teamed up to find out how college students were giving back to their campuses and communities post-recession.

We found some incredible stories. There was Nina Spierer, a Barnard junior who left her "soul-sucking" job at a bank to work with inner-city youth. Rutgers sophomore Joel Salvino commandeered rallies at the New Jersey school, sounding off against a proposed $18.5 million in budget cuts. And University of Oregon graduate student Jessica Bloomfield applied the regional planning knowledge she acquired in the classroom to a real-life laboratory-- the struggling city of Salem, Ore.

These are just a few examples of outstanding students doing positive things despite -- and in response to -- the economic crisis. We know there are more of you out there. If you know of a college student who is giving back to his or her community while cramming for finals and making the dean's list, we encourage you to nominate him or her for HuffPost's Greatest Person of the Day.
