It looks like Obama will indeed extend Bush's tax cuts for the country's millionaires. Here's what average everyday Americans said they would purchase with their millionaire tax cut money.

millionaire tax is ok by me....however, the $250K threshold is to low and will affect many small business owners. $250K is not millionaire money by any means.

"will affect many small business owners" - the 2% who make more than this will be just fine.

If they want to avoid paying taxes on their income they can reinvest it in into their business in a tax deductible fashion, like hiring new employees. Or we can encourage them not to do that by lowering their taxes.

Who needs jobs anyway?

I saw the graph where the 250k to 500k was still the same as the bush plan, so really no change.
from 500k to a million, additional 10k to 25k.

I plan on sending a thank you note to all you serfs who have voted my way, or stayed home, so that the transfer of your wealth to my tax-protected accounts can continue. In return, I promise to keep an absurdly humongous military to defend you against foreigners who want to pillage your remaining wealth. I'll need that too in order to continue hoarding cash and to keep defending you.

I also solemnly swear to trickle down some of your own wealth that you freely gave to me, at some undefined point in the future. Don't worry, I promise.

The Koch Brothers will take their tax cut, and create a web of astroturf political groups, dedicated to complaining about the deficit, and blaming it on Obama.

Well I've sat back and watched the the politicians be politicians. Nothing but spin and outright lies. The elections are over and still the stakes are high. Lisa Murkowski has the write-ins in Alaska, but Joe Miller and his backers even challenged one "Murkowski Lisa" entry.. What is the problem Joe? -- You couldn't use someone elses computer to get a few extra votes in? I guess Joe is feeling his voice is worth at least three of anybody elses.

Politics isn't a calling or a civil duty. It's a big business. And in having made it a business all the underhanded practices come into play. The drug companies bribe doctors with stipends and conferences, the politicians get untold bennies from the private sector, and then start a "consulting business" that will be a guaranteed sucess because "favors" are owed.

I am really disgusted with both parties and the few politicians I would vote for do not represent me.

I will do my best to keep faith with my country, but I fear it has been usurped by corrupt elite who have no care for the people. Where will they be off to after we crash and burn? Abu Dhabi?

I have to agree with you. Zombie repellent will prove a wise investment in the near future.

Who needs zombie repellent when you have lots of guns?

Yeah but do you have lots of ammo?

I'm going for the new & improved, longer lasting zombie repellent. If I call in the next 10 minutes, I get twice as much for the same low, low price of millionaire tax cuts.
