You say that a wave of immigrants will overwhelm you and threaten your way of life in the United States and in Europe.
Have you so little confidence in your civilization now?
When out of your White Man's Burden you colonized the world and exported your "democracy" on a mission civilisatrice, the colonized often far outnumbered the colonizers. But you still prevailed with your superior firepower and technology, your science and your "good governance."
You made us learn your language and adopt your lifestyle and ways. You taught us that your civilization was superior.
Now, when we seek shelter from harm and better economic opportunities, you say your civilization is too weak, too fragile to handle the swarm.
Have you so little confidence in your civilization now?
Or do we believe in your civilization more than you do yourselves?
