Happy Monday everyone, here's my Top 5 for June 6, 2011 from Len Berman at www.ThatsSports.com.

1. Quick Hits

* Miami leads Dallas two games to one in the NBA Finals after last nights 88-86 win. Game 4 is tomorrow night in Dallas.
* Game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals is tonight in Boston with Vancouver leading two games to none.
* Rafael Nadal won his sixth French Open beating Roger Federer in four sets.
* Maybe walk him next time? Albert Pujols of the Cards hits an extra inning game-ending homer against the Cubs for the second straight day.
* The baseball draft is today.
* Don't kill the messenger. A-Rod and Cameron Diaz are supposedly splitsville. Sorry to ruin your week.

2. Win-Win

The beauty of tennis is that it's the unique sport where two great champions go head to head, no teammates, no punching (as in boxing) just two naked competitors strutting their stuff. Is chess the only other civil one-on-one activity? I mean in fencing, they've got swords. Anyway, watching Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer yesterday was a rare treat. Kind of like a solar eclipse. Sure Nadal won, but hail to the champion. Both of them.

3. Get Out of Jail Card

Today's the day that former Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress gets out of prison. He served 20 months for shooting himself in the leg. The media is speculating where he'll wind up. It won't be the Giants, might be Philadelphia. I don't sense that football fans are spending a lot of time fretting over this. On Facebook, there's a page called "Plaxico Burress Release June 6." At last check it had nine followers.

4. You Do the Math

You gotta love the games they play at Madison Square Garden. Word is that the Knicks wanted to cut Donnie Walsh's salary by 40 percent. A fine reward for bringing the team back to respectability. The Knicks are increasing ticket prices by 49 percent. A fine kick in the ass for Knicks fans who have supported lots of lousy basketball. All this, and Isiah Thomas might return. Is there such a thing as a triple dribble?

5. Sex Sells

I guess I caught your attention when talking about 2010 French Open champion Francesca Schiavone's view on sex before competition. She said, "For a woman, sex before a match is not only allowed, it is fantastic. It raises your hormone levels and brings advantages to all of your points."

To which you guys had these responses.

*Andrew F. "Felipe Massa of Ferrari's F1 team admits...'On the Saturday night before the race I always have sex...even though I know it doesn't make me faster'. Fact is he hasn't finished the last 3 races."

*Mark P. pointed out that Bob Beamon admitted to having sex the night before the long jump at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. He then set one of the most incredible world records of all time.

Clearly, we need more research! As for Schiavone, she lost Saturday to Li Na of China. No word on what she was doing the night before.
