In what other part of our society would we accept 8% approval without demanding change - change that we control? Republicans are working overtime to prevent young people and minorities from voting. They have worked hard to control women's healthcare needs. Worried about your economic future? These issues alone should make voters angry.... Angry enough to vote? What's your hot button?

Immigration, Minimum Wage/Living Wage, College Loans/Debt, Equal & Fair Education, Voter Suppression, Wage on Woman's Health, Affordable Housing, Consumer Rights, Jobs, Infrastructure, Energy Reform / Climate Change, Banking / Financial Reform, War / Military Action, Equal Pay for Equal Work, Smart & Effective Gun Legislation, Citizen's United/Lies & Money in Politics, Social Programs, Veterans / Military Support,...

Politics and Congress are broken. Dare to make a difference. Be selfish & vote. If you don't vote, you are allowing for more obstruction, more voter suppression, more poverty, and maybe more war. These elections affect your day-to-day life. We know more programs and services will be cut and privatized to benefit millionaires and billionaires. These are personal attacks on our rights. Why vote - because it is the right thing to do. Don't buy into the politics of fear. If you let frustration, disappointment in the system, and apathy take over, they win.

Republicans' new crisis is Ebola. They demand a quick response, but they have shredded government budgets, almost eliminated research programs, and reduced the power of government agencies. Congress has filibustered the nomination of the Surgeon General candidate, Dr. Vivek H. Murthy, who was nominated over 10 months ago, because the NRA didn't like his intelligent and timely comments that gun violence is a public health issue. The "Congress of NO" openly criticizes the President regarding his handling of ISIS, but are scared and won't do their Constitutional duty and their job: to debate and vote on resolutions. The "Congress of NO" continues to hurt the country by failing to confirm approximately 44 ambassadors to 44 countries or confirm 80+ federal judge positions. The "Congress of NO" has only given us 49+ votes to repeal ObamaCare, and voted to give themselves 50% more vacation on the taxpayer's dime.

We have gotten costly, unnecessary wars; the insistence that science doesn't exist; gotten the biggest financial meltdown; the biggest deficit (significantly shrunken by President Obama); pharma sweetheart deals; obstruction to sensible gun control legislation; voted against equal pay for equal work; are against any LGBT rights; voted against reducing student loans while standing strong to keep tax loopholes for millionaires and billionaires; restrict voting, obstruct women's access to legal healthcare; and shut down the government when they don't get their way. On top of all of that, SCOTUS insist racism in America does not exist anymore, so they eliminated the need to protection civil rights.

Maybe people are not hurting enough to vote. How much pain must people suffer to care enough to vote; especially when we have some good, qualified candidates including Erin Bilbray in NV, Alison Lundergan Grimes in KY, & Wendy Davis in TX. Why do people vote against their own self-interests? Political spin, ads, and money in politics can be dangerous, deceptive, but effective. Do your homework & Vote! Vote to give the President the tools to leave a strong legacy to improve the environment and energy policy, education, and restore America to her research, democratic, and leadership potential. :)
