In a recent interview on Turkey's answer to "The View," Hillary Clinton said that style really isn't her thing. "I think Michelle Obama looks fabulous," she said. "I tell my daughter the fashion gene skipped a generation." Well, Hillary, not so fast. I think you've had some hits over the years and I want you to buck up and embrace style because, guess what, you've got some!

Why isn't there a photo here of Hillary from last year's DNC convention included? She looked fantastic in that tangerine pantsuit she wore to give her speech. Probably the most radiant I've ever seen her.
I happen to love the leopard print evening gown. Its not zebra print! Ms. Clinton looks great. She has legs like a tree trun k, so wearing pants is a GOOD choice for her.
I can't tell who wears "the pants" in the family...Hillary insist on wearing them and Bill constantly takes them off...:)
My all time favorite is the midnight blue ball gown she wore to the first Inaugural. She was radiant. I'm not a fan of the all one color pant suits, unless the color is very dark, but if she's found something that looks good enough for the fashion crowd and still allows her to be comfortable, I'm fine with it.
I'm loving her as Madame Secretary. The candid shots I've seen with her hair a bit mussed, he face in the expressions of thought seem so much more like the woman she is than most of the First Lady, senator/wife of Bill stuff. I'm thrilled for her and for us in her new job..
Actually, my favorite outfit was the black suit with the yellow-trimmed collar she wore in the Texas debates last February. I had been mocking her ugly pants suits until that point, but I was actually impressed with how sharp she looked in it.
I honestly don't get pant suits for woman. They are usually hideous and take away any femininity. You can look powerful, professional and remind people you are a woman at the same time. Androgyny does not equal respect.
What a First Lady, U.S. Senator, and Madam Secretary ~ I just can't get enough of that woman Hillary Rodham Clinton! Brilliant, intellectual, and gracious, modest and gorgeous! Confident, courageous,
poised, and unflappable! A regal, steely, amazing lady....she's got what it takes!
second
I agree. The pictures remind me of how really fashionable Hillary Clinton is! Way to go Hillary.
I might expect a post like this on Rush Limbaugh ( the fashion story, not you skyblu) but here. Get serious, she has made bg news with her statements on Mexico, Afghanastan and N Korea, leave the fashion reviews to Entertainment tonight and the vast right wing conspiracy, it's demeaning to her and to me!
Um, it's in the style section, policy isn't usually discussed in the fashion world. If you feel demeaned when reading stories in the style section, perhaps you should avoid clicking on it.
couldn't agree more!
Hillary Clinton is a smart and beautiful woman no matter what she is wearing.
# 9 is beautiful--my fav and # 4 is pretty too.
We love you Hills! Keep up the great work!
Great post Lindsay!!
Hilary is graceful lady who knows how to dress up.

All of them are good, but I love the picture with the yellow jacket.
So much depth in those eyes, it is the story of perseverance , hard work, endurance...and finally a winner .
There you go Madame Secretary !
She was dressed and accessorized beautifully throughout the 2008 campaign. I don't know why press insists on dredging up the old photos.
the last picture didn't make me think about what she was wearing, but it reminded me of that great 1992 campaign.
The best part of that whole campaign was the signs held up by people as Bill and Hillary passed by with "Give em h@ll Bill" posters.
Photo number 10 (white dress) and photo number two (shows midriff) are beautiful pictures of Hillary. She can look gorgeous when she wants to.
Hillary looks super in that white dress.
On the other hand, Bill's shirt looks like something he got out of my mechanic's rag barrel. Yipes!
Arrianna and Lindsay, what is with you guys? Is that the only thing on the planet that Hilary, Michelle or even Sarah Palin have done thats worth acknowledging? I want to see a photo display of Bill Clinton's, Cheney's and all of the male leaders of countries fashions.... complete with stupid snotty comments. I normally think the Huffington Post is a great source of info...... and then I see boring, sexist crap like this and I start wondering why I should bother to read anything you have to say.
I think you're been way too critical. I love all she had on, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, the evening gown. It was somewhat subtle and a great color - the wrapped toned it down.
