When you wake up to the smell of vinegar and hard-boiled eggs, you know it's time to whip out that light blue seersucker pantsuit and prepare yourself for a feast of chocolate woodlawn creatures. Yum! But when Easter Sunday is over and the plastic grass has inevitably made its way from your basket to every carpet in your house, the fun doesn't stop. Since 1878, the White House grounds have been open to the public for the Easter Monday Egg Roll where the President and First Lady play host to thousands of children and rolling eggs in matching pastels. The eggs and the kids aren't the only ones looking good, though.

We must remember that the Easter Egg Hunt is for the Kids. Thinks about would you where heels if you took your kids to an easter egg hunt, or fun in the parks? The Obamas made it real and not a photo op.
Where heels? Or wear heels? Good grief!
What a suit of John F. at the end there. If I had a tailor that was able to make it fit like that. Coupled with the slim tie, and pressed white shirt, that is all a man needs. For some reason, just the captures of old cameras make the photos seem so foggy, and because of that it makes the Kennedy's seem surreal and unattainable. Its an interesting thought, I feel it every time.
Um, thats the way they dressed in the 60s.
Trying to be funny doesn't make you funny.
Great pictures and funny, witty captions. Lindsay, your slide shows always bring a smile to my face and sometimes a chuckle. Keep it up!
What an odd headline, when neither Jackie, Hilary or Barbara Bush is wearing pastels in any of their photos.
Please - don't EVER run another picture of the Clintons. I beg you.
LOL
The Clintions are great beautiful and intelligent people. This country is very proud to have them ran our country. The whole world love them.
All looked matronly except Jackie O - no wonder the designers are going crazy over Michelle - look at what they had to deal with in the past - ghee
ok enuff of this nobody cares......where are the pics of our president in his new easter pin stripe suit.
he looks so stunning and sexi..........NEXT!
picture 2: Hillary; Mary Poppins wants her hat back!
Her hat is stunning.
Some of these pictures with the Easter Bunny are so silly and cute. My favorite is the last picture. Bush Sr. and Barbara seem like they'd be good grandparents. Bush Sr. has all the stories to tell (i.e. jumping out of a plane, being president, etc.) and Barbara seems like a warm grandma.
A warm Grandma.....maybe...but for those without money...heck, for them, no compassion.....they were "better off" in the stadium than in their own homes...right Barbara?!
Thanks for the reminder. I'd forgotten about that little slip of affluenza.
Ok, Huffington......the Obama's went to St. John's this morning. Where are the photos? (taping my foot here)
We want Michelle!! We want Michelle!!
I know!! Its been like 3 days since my last Michelle fashion fix!!!
Jackie and JFK are the only ones who looked good in any of those photos. LOL . Oh and the Jonas Brothers but that's about it. Everyone else looked ......UGGGGGG!
The last photo makes me yearn for my old Spanish lace mantilla.
Happy Easter!
Jackie looks great!
