The Nerves of Steele

Steele's days as RNC leader seem to be coming to an end. Surprise, Surprise. He just doesn't fit with their new image.

Michael Steele has nerves!

The First Nerve of Steele was being quiet while his party put on the sheets. His silence is deafening as fellow African-American political leaders are called the n-word at the U.S. Capitol. Being Black and Republican is one thing...but letting them step all over you...well, let's just say that's not playing well in the 'hood.

The Second Nerve of Steele was apologizing to Limbaugh after calling him an 'entertainer' (mild when talking about Limbaugh). Actually, Colin Powell said it best in an interview on CBS's Face the Nation on May 24, 2009:

When the chairman of the RNC, Michael Steele, issues the mildest of criticism concerning Mr. Limbaugh, and then 24 hours later the chairman of the RNC has to lay prostrate on the floor apologizing for it....

Colin Powell, now there's a Republican I respect!

I used to respect McCain, but now he's forced to bow at the altar of Sarah Palin to get re-elected and ALL respect I had for him is gone. (Actually, the respect probably left when he chose her as a running mate--does he know what he DID!)

But, back to Steele's nerves!

The Last Nerve of Steele is pretending he is anything but the GOP's affirmative action pick to counter a Black President. They've done it before with Clarence Thomas and Sarah Palin.

But, the truth of the matter is.....comparing Michael Steele to Barack Obama is like...well, it's like comparing Clarence Thomas to Thurgood Marshall, or comparing Sarah Palin to Hillary Clinton.

The GOP's affirmative action efforts are lame, no wonder they speak against it so much!

Steele's days as RNC leader seem to be coming to an end. Surprise, Surprise.

He just doesn't fit with their new image. A Black man in power is contrary to everything they stand for these days.

Goodbye Steele.
