Plain old beer is a perfectly acceptable drink for a plain old football game. But Sunday is the Super Bowl, and you have to step it up a bit.

To help you out, here are a few tasty tipples that will not only pair well with nachos, hot wings and pizza, but also satisfy even the most discriminating cocktail connoisseur. Enjoy the game!

There's no better spirit with which to toast the beginning of Super Bowl XLVI than Maker’s 46 Bourbon. The complex whiskey (which came out in 2010 and is not actually named for Sunday's game) is a spicier and oakier version of the original Maker's Mark. It's great sipped on the rocks and also makes a robust Manhattan or Old Fashioned.
