Actress/comedienne Margaret Cho and her co-star Selene Luna will participate in the "March on Sacramento" rally in support of equal marriages rights this Saturday at the State Capitol. Cho and Luna have been vocal on their support of equal rights, recording a PSA for No on 8; and Cho, an outspoken and very funny supporter of the LGBT community, has blogged and spoken extensively on Prop 8.
Last Saturday, while in Cincinnati, Cho spoke at the city's equal marriage rights rally and performed a song she wrote just for the occasion -- which was pretty cool and brave considering she'd just learned to play the guitar a few days earlier. They lyrics are NSFW, so click the link to the video at your own peril -- it's designed put the Mormons' panties in a bunch.
It's easy to get to the California state capitol, so come on out to Sac'to, and join Margaret and Selene! And on the way there keep Maragaret's words in mind:
Think about how far we've come in our community...We are here, we are queer, we are here forever and we are gonna win this right.

You may want to check out Maureen Dowd's column today. She talks about the boycott of El Coyote which you blogged about nearly two weeks ago. The similarity of two phrases is striking.

Margaret has been married to a straight man for 5 years now and Selene identifies as straight. I'm not sure who the "we " in the above is.
Good for her for singing protest songs on behalf of Gay's right to marry. If Gays weren't responsible for 100% of her income, I might actually think she's sincere.
I suggest you direct your anger to the people who deserve it, not the allies who are fighting alongside you.
