For me, there is no better comfort food than spaghetti and meatballs. If I'm honest about it, I make this dish at least once a week. It's easy, quick, and delicious.

All I need to do is boil some water, add the pasta, then cook it according to the time on the box, right?

Well, apparently there's an even better way of cooking pasta and it involves less water and less time. I thought it was crazy, but then I looked into it. The cooking method described below is even used by celebrity chefs like Gordon Ramsay.

Before I shared this video with you, however, I knew I'd have to verify this method for myself. So last night I grabbed some spaghetti from the store and grabbed my frying pan. Sure enough, I used much less water and the spaghetti was done in nearly half the time!

Now, I thought that infusing my pasta with bacon was brilliant, but this pasta cooking method is even better, in my opinion.

My next challenge is to convince my mom that this pasta-cooking method beats her old-school methods. I don't know if I'll ever get her to change her ways, but maybe if we do it together, she can see for herself.

What do you think? Will you try this method? Let us know in the comments!
