America's Critical Role in the Spiritual Evolution of the World

Posted: 02/16/2012 2:28 pm

The first time I saw an American gathering angel was when I was about six and growing up in Ireland. I have been seeing angels since I was a baby, I see them physically as I would see someone standing in front of me and no day has passed in my life when I haven't seen an angel. This was the first time though that I had seen an angel that looked quite like this.

The angel looked very powerful and had beautiful wings. It gave me a male appearance -- a little like a soldier and wore silver coloured armour that covered its legs. On its chest was a big dark blue crest that looked like a shield. The angel had shoulder length brown hair and wore a band across its forehead. The angel with me told me that this was an American gathering angel, but told me no more.

As I grew up in the 1960s in Dublin I continued to see these angels occasionally. Over time I learned that these special powerful angels had for centuries been gathering selected people of all nationalities and all religions from all parts of the world to bring them to America. They were gathering people who would help create a new nation -- a nation that God and the angels tell me will play a critical role in the spiritual evolution of mankind.

I don't know why any individual is chosen by the American gathering angels. I have been told that being gathered doesn't mean that an individual is superior or better than others who are left behind. All I have been told is that those who are gathered are supposed to be a part of the mix of this new nation.

I have asked about slavery and the American gathering angels. The angels explained that, outrageous as it may seem, slavery was one of the ways that was used to make sure that certain people were brought to the new world -- people who would never have come to America by other means. This does not of course excuse taking anyone's freedom or treating them unjustly or with cruelty. Even though their arrival in America was a horrendous experience the new world needed selected African's with their unique and deep spirituality.

The angels also tell me that the Native Americans have an important part to play. They have a spirituality that is different and a richness that is needed as a part of this spiritual evolution.

In recent years since I started to speak and write about what I have been seeing I have travelled a lot. In every country I have visited I have seen American gathering angels, so I know they are still at work.

When I stepped off the plane in JFK, the first time I came to America I felt how different America is. The atmosphere felt very different -- it was as if it was tingling, vibrating faster than anywhere else I had ever been.

I quickly realized that it was the American people who were creating this different atmosphere. Americans are more open spiritually than other nationalities. God and the angels tell me that Americans listen more and are more responsive. They are less afraid of the spiritual side of themselves, or those around them. They seem to me to be more energised, as if they have a stronger desire to live life to the full.

The American people have been gathered together from all around the world, from all nationalities and religions and through marrying each other and mixing together in communities have formed what is essentially a new race.

Each time I land in America it's as if a gate to the new world opens. America is not perfect. Like all nations, it struggles at times to find its way and also at times makes wrong decisions. But God and the angels have told me that America is the gateway to humanity's future. America is where the choices that will determine mankind's future will be made.

An interesting article...it is true that whatever religious phenomena are happening in America, such is unique from any other nation on earth.

I am a bit surprised the institution you inhabit allows so much internet access.

So, obviously Angels exist. I mean, this woman sees them, therefore it's true. So given that scientific fact. I pose this hypothetical question to you: Today, A pastors daughtor in Florida was accidentally shot in the head. She died. If you were her guardian angel, what part of guardian did you not understand?

I hope that you are correct. Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither ...
New International Version "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.

Religious believers who are moderate to progressive politically and "moderate" religiously, who claim to be advancing a middle way between fundamentalism and what they claim is the equally-extremist pole of "fundamentalist" atheism, are very reluctant to openly criticize crazy stuff like this when it isn't accompanied by an overt right-wing political agenda -- indeed, they often even publish it and otherwise support it. They refuse to acknowledge how very close this sort of thing is to the right-wing stuff and how both come directly from their own Holy Books. They refuse to acknowledge their responsibility for the crazy religion thinking they condemn when it's right-wing, and smile at, perhaps an embarrassed smile, perhaps not even always that, when, as apparently in this case, they judge it to be harmless. Crazy is crazy. You moderates need to see your role in fostering extremism.

I have to agree with you here. I went to a progressive church for awhile some years ago. They would talk about their crazy neighboring churches but really wouldn't confront them in any way. They seem to not understand that it all comes from the same sources--same genus, different species.

“I have to agree with you here."

You say very often that you agree with me, and then in other comments you talk about your paganism or spirituality. or how wonderful you think certain Gnostic NT apocryphal texts are, and, no offense, but we are not on the same page when it comes to religious matters. We're not in the same book or even in the same library. We're really, really not.

I do agree with you on some things. Sorry about that. I also understand that I don't conform to your doctrine on a number of matters. I will not bother you again.

Some may laugh at this, but the author did not play down the suffering of those forced to come to N AM or those Natives who have been-and still are-f****d over. actually this is almost Whitmanesque-the great potential of this "new world". Take away the angels and think of Hegel. The SPIRIT "evolves" through History to full realization (very short version)-but he ALSO calls it "the slaughter bench of History"-and really does not explain it away either. He also thought America had not yet experienced History. It was the next thing about to happen.
Bring back the angels-similar to Blake or Swedenborg. Maybe the author is a "visionary"? Naive or not maybe she "sees" these things? It actually fits with American quasi-"gnostic" religious visions.
That is not without interest. The problem I see is that we have long ago gone past that kind of optimism. right now we are just trying to get our balance back-and indeed, there can be little doubt that certain types religious nuts have become a serious part of the problem. ETC

"the author did not play down the suffering of those forced to come to N AM or those Natives who have been-and still are-f****d over"

That's a matter of opinion.

"think of Hegel"

Oh, do we have to? If we're going to think about Hegel, I suggest that people begin -- and end -- with reading Schopenhauer on Hegel. Schopenhauer tells you all you need to know about Hegel. Sure, Schopenhauer was extremely envious on Hegel's success. Sure, he sabotoged his own professional success in ways which are extremely obvious to us in this post-Freudian age. That doesn't mean he was wrong about Hegel.

OK "a matter of opinion" maybe-but that seemed to be the intention of the blogger. I don't see what your getting at. All I meant was that if you "secularize" this (perhaps naive) vision it is not so different from Hegel's view-in which he sees Spirit as progressing through History-yet the tragedy of History is still there an cannot be rationalized. I have read Schopenhauer and I well know that he suggests Hegel and Idealists go back and read Plato so that they stop garbling Being and Becoming.

I was prepared to not like your essay but I did like it. It is sweet. Most of the time I think America is sliding back several centuries due to the willful ignorance vis-a-vis science and the oppressive dogmas of religion. But we are an interesting stew pot of cultures, religions and races. As long as we have a secular system of law, we will probably be okay. I don't think we will ever have a satisfying spiritual evolution until we reconnect with nature. But there is a strong love of nature in America although it is in constant tension with exploitive economics. I would never look for a spiritual revolution in a church per se but I do believe in angels.

Gosh darn, these angels just know that the slaves were having such a good time on their cruise ships coming to this country where they were meant to be. Then the fun and excitement of seeing your parents and siblings sold off so they could visit other places. Golly gee that was fun.
Let's not forget how sending those Native Americans to live on worthless land and send their children to assimilation schools helped them develop that cute spirituality they all have.
Angels are such fun !!!
