Your wildest dreams are just waiting for you to wake up and make them transpire into reality. A vision board is an important tool for this visioning process. Your vision board pushes you to put serious thought into your future.

As a result, it encourages you to evolve and become a leader in your life by believing in yourself, boosting your confidence level, and placing yourself in a position to experience more positive and favorable outcomes.

Three Ways To Use Your Vision Board:

1. Get Laser Focused

Use your vision board to get clear about your desires. Be very specific on your desires and what you want to manifest for the year in your life. (i.e. a new car, home, or starting a family or business) Clarity will help you pick out the exact pictures that align with your vision. Find pictures that capture the idea of your vision. If you goal is moving into a new home, grab a Homes and Gardens magazine and start clipping images that inspire you to work towards getting that home and taking the necessary steps to bringing this vision to fruition.

Asking yourself questions such as:

What kind of garden do I desire?

What colors will the walls be?

How many rooms do I want in my house?

Where do I want my house located?

Do I want a pool in the backyard?

These questions help with being crystal clear about your vision. You want your vision to be so clear that you can see it, smell it and even taste it.

2. Put Your Motivation On Steroids

If you are not exactly sure on what you want or you have been dealing with a major transition or hurdle in life, your vision board will serve as a bolt of energy. Your vision board should be created in a way that moves you from feeling depressed and uncertain to knowing that change will happen and the impossible is possible.

Start this by going through each of your magazines. Tear out words and images that speak to your heart. Don't ask why. Don't worry how. Just keep image shopping in your magazines. If a picture of kids playing in a sandbox brings a smile to your face and a memory of good times when you were a kid, then cut it out and place it on your board. The most important thing when vision boarding is to have fun. DO NOT COMPLICATE THE PROCESS.

As you cut out pictures and words make sure you ask yourself what does this picture mean to me?

3. Mark Your Territory

Your vision board can be used in several formats. You can begin to start a vision journal, take pictures on your phone, etc. You can begin to create a board focused on love, health or family. Don't be afraid to theme your vision board. Creating a vision board as part of a family tradition is an example of marking your territory and creating a themed board. Instead of a family tree you can use the vision board as a legacy tradition to pass on to your children.

It doesn't matter how you decide to use your creativity for your vision board. There is no limits to the creation process.
