The Forest: Intuition

A forest can be both a frightening and a magical place. Why is that magic so frightening to people? Because there is power in it, the power to understand nature at its deepest. Spending time in a forest in summer reminds us that everything is a cycle of birth, life, and death. Everything feeds on everything else, and there is no use trying to control it. The forest will always win--even if it's totally cut down! It will come back again! So all that is really left is to surrender to it and listen to the whispering. The forest is alive. Everything in it is alive. And if you listen, it will connect you to your deepest voice inside yourself, your soul, and your intuition.

Try to find a forest (even inside your head if you can't get to a real one, but of course, a real one is better). Sit quietly until you are calm and unafraid. But if you are afraid, try to examine what it is you are most afraid of and why. Let your inner voice, the voice of intuition, tell you what you need to know, what you need to work on and do. Believe what you hear. It's magic!

Make sure to come back tomorrow!
