Last Minute Father's Day Gift Ideas

As the holidays go by each year, I find it harder and harder to pick up gifts for my loved ones. The men in my life tend to be the hardest to buy for. When all else fails, I can't get dad a bouquet of roses like I could for mom. Seriously, what do you get the man who has everything? Here are a few ideas for every budget.

When all else fails, I can't get dad a bouquet of roses like I could for mom. Seriously, what do you get the man who has everything? Here are a few ideas for every budget.

$30 and Under Father's Day Gift Ideas

A Netflix or Hulu Subscription

Basic Netflix plans start at $7.99 and standard plans start at $9.99. Netflix Gift Cards can be purchased on Amazon. Hulu with limited commercials starts at $7.99 per month and gift cards are sold at a wide range of stores such as Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and Rite Aid.

A Fun T-Shirt

Dad love dogs? T-shirts are a staple, but step up your gift giving game with a t-shirt that supports dad's interests, such as his dog. I Heart Dogs offers a variety with different sayings and each purchase supports shelter dogs in need.

There are also sites like Café Press and Zazzle that make unique shirts.

Toys for Men

Help dad feel like a little kid again with a toy that reaches the boy in him. I originally discovered Think Geek when searching for a Christmas gift for the boyfriend. The site sells a ton of unique gifts at different price points. The Treky dad might like the Star Wars Kites on sale for $19.99. Other geek toy ideas for dad priced under $30 include:

• Firefly Playing Cards
Game of Thrones Blind Bag Figures
• Fiendish Japanese Pocket Puzzles

A Tour of His Favorite Stadium

Select sports stadiums offer tour options. The few that I confirmed include:

• Green Bay Packers Lambeau Field - $12
• Fenway Park - $18
• AT&T Stadium Self-Guided Tours - $17.50
• Angel Stadium - $8
• Yankee Stadium - $20
• FedExField - $20
• Dodger Stadium - $20
• MetLife Stadium - $20
• NRG Stadium - $6

Prices noted are for adult tickets.

Gifts in the $100 Range

Your dad might not need anything but it's likely he could certainly use the following, adding a nice touch coming in around $100.

A Gift Certificate for Auto Service

An credit for an oil change or toward new tires is a thoughtful gift. Check out your local auto shops to see which offer gift certificates. If you live in the Central California area, a friend of mine recommends Scott's Shop. Nationwide, Firestone is one option. The few Firestone locations I spoke to confirmed they offer gift certificates for service.

A Gift Certificate for a Spa Service

Women are not the ones who need a little pampering from time to time. Help dad relax by purchasing him a gift certificate for a spa service.

A Year's Worth of Shaving Products

Dollar Shave Club first caught my attention in 2015 when sites like Fast Company and Fortune wrote about its innovative marketing. Attractive sells and Dollar Shave Club's products are exactly that. For $100, you can gift dad up to 12 months of a Shave Club Membership. Add an extra $4 to have it gift wrapped.

Big Spenders

If you have some extra cash to burn through, first, call me (just kidding, but not really) or get dad a watch of all watches - a Rolex. Owning a Rolex watch is something that the general masses only dream of. Don't be duped when buying one. Learn how to spot a fake and get a better idea of what the associate costs are likely to be based off the different models and collections in the Watch Gallery's Buying Guide.

The Chance to Drive an Exotic Car on a Local Track

Dad have a need for speed? The Xtreme Xperience could help dad get his fix. Purchase a package for dad to drive the latest exotic supercars on racetracks across the United States.

Happy shopping and here's wishing your dad a great day!

Prices are subject to change and are as of June 13, 2016 at 10 pm EST.
