I host a talk show in Chicago at the Hideout called "The Interview Show." Below is video from an interview I did with country musician Robbie Fulks, whose forthcoming release is "50-Voice Doberman." The video also includes a performance by Robbie.
The next installment of The Interview Show is Feb. 6, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hideout (1354 W. Wabansia.)

The thing I don't like about Robbie is he never has enough egg shaker players in his band. Full disclosure: I'm an egg shaker player.
In a better world, Robbie would be what you would hear when you listened to a country music radio station.
A little known fact - this man is one of the better entertainers of our time. Go see him live. Try to walk away and not be a fan. I dare you.
Robbie is one of the most talented musicians around,a hysterical song writer, check out his ode to W "Countryer than thou" "How'd we get a county sherrif with a frat boys brain?" Also a first rate flat picker.
