River: a natural stream of water of fairly large size flowing in a definite course or channel.

This can be you. You can be a river.

It's time. Time to learn each day as much as you can and then seek to share it as fast as you can. Knowledge is power, but only if you choose to let it flow to the virtual ocean of people who could benefit from what you learned and benefit right now. Hopefully you learned it for a reason... you now have a great idea or gathered important information by reading, or listening, and you are not keeping it inside as insight from which only you can benefit, but to share it with others to transform their lives.

Be the river.

The knowledge you keep bottled up inside is nothing but stuffing and basically useless to anyone but yourself. So where's the benefit in that? It's the reason the right teacher is such a diamond in the rough, someone who took the time to learn and then is willing to share that knowledge with others who they know can benefit from the wisdom they have gained. It's why the right mentor, the right coach, at least in an area of life you know you need guidance, can change your life. They have become rivers of information and are letting their knowledge flow in a definite course right into you, into your mind, body, or spirit.

Some of the greatest rivers who ever lived are right at your fingertips if only take the time to listen or to read their organized thoughts and processes. They can become mentors in your life, and help you live a better life if you simply hop in the boat, grab the oar and start to row through their minds, acting like a sponge to soak in everything you can.

The magic that happens from the knowledge you gain then is up to you. The secret is to share, because not everyone is taking the time to do seek out knowledge on their own. They know they need it, or want it, but they have not opened themselves up, or are fearful of realizing their own potential. There is no perfect time to educate, the time to share is as fast as you gained the insight.

People who have a teachable spirit, who are willing to learn, are ready and waiting right now. If you wait for the ideal situation or moment to make a move to give or to share, then you never will.

This blog itself is now more than 500 posts of lessons I have learned, things I have read or listened to, personal stories or moments which inspired me, and others who inspire me -- and I write the posts to immediately try to share so you or someone else can benefit. That's the goal. I don't wait to "get the idea down perfectly," I try to share it so I can understand the purpose myself. Search any word on the blog: dreams, goals, change, challenges, potential, love, care, share... and there should be a post related to the topic. I am simply trying to be that river.

It's up to you as well, no matter what the knowledge is. Be a teacher, a mentor, a coach to someone who needs you. You may not know at this moment who that person is, because they have yet to raise their hand to ask. No matter -- simply talk about your ideas with others, share them, let others know you want them to grow, because you know how what you have learned is changing you -- from the inside out.

The river runs through you. So let it flow.

Until next time, thanks for taking the time.
