You can do it the way it's always been done, or you can choose to do things differently. You can give it a passing glance, or you can take a second look.

You might just be surprised at what you see.

If you want to live the life you deserve, you have to step away from what's normal, think big and think beyond what everyone else does. Consider the following passage. Go ahead and read it from the top to the bottom, and then think about how you feel. Go ahead, I'll wait....

Today was the absolute worst day ever.
And don't try to convince me that
there's something good in every day.
Because, when you take a closer look,
This world is a pretty evil place.
Even if
Some goodness does shine through once in a while,
satisfaction and happiness don't last.
And it's not true that
It's all in the mind and heart
because
True happiness cannot be attained,
only if one's surroundings are good.
It's not true that good exists
I'm sure you can agree that
the reality
creates
my attitude
It's all beyond my control
And you'll never in a million years hear me say that
Today was a very good day.

So, how do you feel? Ready to rush out into the world and begin another great day? I doubt it. Well, good.

Stop doing it like everyone else, stop following the herd, stop your conventional thinking!

Go read that same passage from the bottom to the top, then see how you feel and what you believe. Then go live your dream, go for broke, change the world!!

Until next time, thanks for taking the time (and thank my daughter Sophie for bringing this passage to my attention).
