Long time Hollywood celebrity chef Gary Arabia has left the studios - at least part-time.

Arabia, known as the fusion chef who transformed Hollywood Studio canteens all over town, including The Lot (formerly Goldwyn and Warner Bros. Hollywood), Sunset Gower and Sunset Bronson studios, is bringing his fresh, global cuisine to us D-listers.

For years, Arabia has fed Hollywood's most famous foodies; Harrison Ford, Larry David, former mayors and sports legends, from his studio cafes. However, since those restaurants are located behind the locked gates of Hollywood studios, non-show folk may never have had the opportunity to taste his globally sourced cuisine.

With his new GC Marketplace, located a short 5-minute walk from Universal Studios main entrance, Arabia blends freshly made, locally sourced main courses, with imported meats, cheeses and packed and pickled treasures from around the world. Fusing tastes and textures from cultures as disparate as Asia and urban America, Arabia has built his A-list clientele based on years of event catering and splashy events.

So, if you're touring the stars' homes while visiting LA LA Land this holiday season, you might want to end the day by sampling what the stars eat when they're NOT at home - fresh, excellent food, reasonably priced. After coffee and handmade croissants, visit the retail shelves to take home some of the international finds - like olive oil, truffle cheeses and delicacies - to bring a little Hollywood back home.
