One of the best things about running a record label is finding amazingly talented artists before the rest of the world does. Molly Jenson is one such artist and if things go as we hope, you'll be hearing a lot more about her very soon.

I kept hearing about Molly from a friend in Orange County who heard I was starting a label, but just didn't take it very seriously. Then, coincidentally, (or not) I met Molly at a net-based TV station I was hosting a show on. Finally, I asked her for a copy of her cd. Driving down the 405 I was flabbergasted at what I heard. I listen to music for a living, but Molly's was a rare find. As I put the finishing touches on my deal with an amazing music company called Nettwerk which will distribute her CD in the U.S. and around the world, I could only hope that nobody discovered Molly's music before we could make her an offer. We did and her CD "Maybe Tomorrow" will be released worldwide on Bully! Pulpit Records/Nettwerk Music Group on March 3rd and I hope that many of you will get the album and enjoy her music as much as I have.

Molly has a great sense of humor as you'll see in this YouTube video. Here's the backstory: We had gotten a song of hers used in the season premiere of the new Knight Rider show, but we must have missed the memo on how long or at what volume her song would be played. Molly had set up a whole deal to record the moment for posterity, but though it didn't quite turn out the way she had hoped, we got a funny YouTube moment out of it.

For those of you who are music buffs, the CD was produced by Greg Laswell an old friend of Molly's from college who is an amazing artist as well.

So, please mark your calendars for March 3rd and have a listen to some of her songs here.
