On Monday night I'll be hosting a screening of the film Lord Save Us From Your Followers in L.A. and moderating a panel discussion afterwards. Written, directed and produced by Emmy-award-winning filmmaker Dan Merchant, the film was described by USA Today as "Monty Python meets Michael Moore: A humorous and heartfelt examination of the culture wars."

After the screening, I'll be joined by some smart voices from around the political and religious spectrum who will give their thoughts on the film and the issues that it raises. Michael Levine, founder and president of Levine Communications and the LBN E-lert, William Lobdell, former Los Angeles Times religion reporter and author of Losing My Religion, and Everett Piper, President of Oklahoma Wesleyan University wil be joined by the filmmaker for what is sure to be an interesting conversation.
