Memo To Bibi: You're Screwed

What's Your Reaction:

Attn: Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu
Re: You and your country

Dear Bibi,

Did you read this? Let's face it: You're screwed. Time to go it alone-at least for a few years. Just remember that though the American government may no longer be with you, the people are. Don't forget that. Your predecessor kept Iraq from going nuclear in 1981. Time to do it again. You know what needs to be done. Get it over with. And if your foreign aid is ever cut, don't worry, a good telethon will more than make up for whatever is lost.

Heh. Israel. Surviving on charity, hand-outs, foreign aid and now telethons.

Every day is coupon day.

And Aly yes, accusing the one Jewish state on Earth of 'crimes' is very much demonizing it. What about the actions of the 58 Muslims states in the world? Any crimes committed there that might concern you? Or are you too busy worrying about how much you hate Israel to care?
02:37 PM on 04/16/2010
the only crime israel commits is to try to live and be a jewish state.
jordan and egypt? jealous of the beautiful prosperous nation next door.
stop the hate and fix your own countries.

Ooh - an innovative way to keep propping up a morally bankrupt, colonial-settler experiment based on the vilest sort of ethno-nationalism when its ONLY remaining sponsor - the United States - decides to bail out. A telethon!! How very novel!

Might I suggest that any US citizen that contributes via this Telethon to the coffers of a nation standing accused of war crimes be immediately and irrevocably stripped of their citizenship. Don't worry about them - a "homeland" awaits...

The NYTimes is right for a change. Policy is changing - just not fast enough. Cut off that aid to Israel and give me a tax break. Oh but look - my congressman would rather my mortgage payment go to that foreign country that keeps dragging us into conflict...

Unfortunately, a telethon probably would cover most of what would otherwise be lost. I'm sure many people who patted themselves on the back for donating a $20 to Haiti would happily toss their wallets in the basket if solemnly reminded about the Holocaust in suitably ominous tones.

Yes, lots of us support Israel's desire to protect itself.

Most of us would also happily support the Palestinians being peaceful neighbors next to Israel, when their religious, social and political leaders ever give up their quest of destroying Israel.

Hiya James.

Listen: Israel - Occupier. Palestinians - Occupied.

Palestinians don't have to "behave" in any way or form to suit the narrative and interests of the "Occupier." They should instead expend every effort to end the occupation in any way or form.

You'd "happily support" the Palestinians being your lil performing monkey, huh? Get a life.

In an open letter to Mr. Obama from the World Jewish Congress, the organization’s president, Ronald S. Lauder, asked, “Why does the thrust of this administration’s Middle East rhetoric seem to blame Israel for the lack of movement on peace talks?”

Perhaps the members of the World Jewish Congress are willing to plea bargain with thieves and murderers as the crimes are continued, however most sane people believe that a crime has to stop before negotiating for a plea.

And perhaps you, and some other Israel haters on the internet and in the public, don't really know what you are talking about. You are not the one who has to suffer from the rocket attacks from Hamas in the West (that's a short distance from Ashkelon and Ashdod), and don't have to suffer from the rocket attacks in the North from Hezbolla, and don't have to fear the nuclear Iran from the East. In the 90s, Israel gave up significant portion of the West Bank to the Palestinians and signed a variety of peace agreements. The Israeli public elected the most Left-wing government in its history. The result was painful - waves of terror attacks across the country and the Palestinians that still refuse to even recognize Israel's right to exist. I say - Obama and his ilk should stick to solving the problems they understand. Seems that Obama is way too eager to please the Arab leaders that continue to persecute and deny basic rights to their own people.

Right from the Hasbara Handbook. Here, you can book mark it in case you ever need to "defend" Israel's actions and you can't find your copy.

By the way, congratulations on being the new recruit for the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

Hey alysheba 3, newsflash for you, just because people argue against you Israel-hating, Jew-hating loons doesn't mean they're in 'hasbara' or whatever, it just means they may actually be normal people, instead of terrorist-supporting wackjobs who spend all their free time in life trying to demonize Israel.
11:26 AM on 04/15/2010
So disagreeing with Israeli policies is demonizing Israel?

And read the book. That's how any person can recognize Hasbara. A book was put out to help defend Israel's crimes. And they are crimes.
02:22 AM on 04/16/2010
Since I also argue against Israel's policies am i too an "Israel-hating, jew-hating loon" and "terrorist-supporting wackjobs"?
