Voters Tell Media Where To Go!

2008-01-09-Twain.gif
(banner advert for poll on the Drudge Report)

The people of New Hampshire HAVE voted.

Apparently rumors of her death were slightly exaggerated...

(Commiserations to Chris Matthews.)

Now -- as we Democrats pleaded in 2000 -- let's count ALL the votes. Not just Iowa. Not just New Hampshire. But the votes in ALL the states that have primaries.

Let Democratic Party members decide who our presidential candidate should be.

Not the press... Not the pundits... Not the pollsters...

Amen.

I guess so many peopel like to think they have seen th glory of Hillary since she won one race primary. She has a huge problem that will show up as/if she wins more. She failed to read any intel that she had access to prior to voting on the Iraq war and she has lock stepped with bush on almost everything if not everything he has wanted as far as money power and war. I guess the war dead are easily forgotten when hil learns she can cry now and get votes. As the hil and bil show goes on they will not know how much it was the tears or the negative trash they threw that got her the votes. BUT....Obamab and Hil/Bil got the same amount of delegates does anyone know that or care. Stop smelling her perfume she bush in a dress.

One down for the Hillary-haters.. the truth is a small faction of left-of-Liberal crazies have finally hooked on to a candidate who they think will follow their dictates, which is Barack Obama; no matter he has little experience, is on his first U.S. Senate term, and that the Republicans are hoping against hope to run against him -so they can more easily coast to victory in '08. Hillary needs to make more of an issue of the possibility of a first Woman President -which would truly be a first; however, this is not about gender, skin colour, etc.. it's about EXPERIENCE and having it so that change can be realised. Thank you women of NH!!

hmmmm. This liberal Texas woman was giddy after watching Barak's Iowa primary speech. You tube makes it possible to watch all speeches these days, not just the snippets the media deems interesting. Then the hits started piling up on Clinton.
Let's look at a couple of other incidents. When 2 shock jocks decided to have a little fun with IRON MY SHIRT signs, pundits cried Plant Plant. And when Clinton did plant people in the audience to ask the questions she felt she needed to answer, even Huff kept this story alive for days. While the faux news story of the same person showing up bashing Clinton in 2 states 4 months apart posing as an undecided voter got barely one days notice.
I must say that as I read and watched, I began to get angry at the media. All of you. Huff included. And when a moist eye garnered so much scorn, it really put me off. Ever Ms. Huff herself went after Clinton in a way I found a little personal. I can well understand how I might have voted my anger had I had a booth to turn to on Tuesday.
I, for one, would like the media to back off on the IMO and get back to the reporting. Less analysis from all would be refreshing.

Just read Bill Kristol's column in the New York Times to find out how the political race is going...yeah right......duh?
"Thank you, Senator Obama. You've defeated Senator Clinton in Iowa....There will no Clinton Restoration.....A nation turns its grateful eyes to you." Bill Kristol (1/7/08)

ONE THING FOR SURE:

We can count on the
RIGHT-WING REPUBLICAN CRONIES TO GET IT WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe Democratic voters should all email Mr. Kristol, regardless of which candidate we vote for, and THANK HIM for his articles PROVING
THAT HE JUST DOESN'T GET IT!
Bet the NYT is so PROUD TO HAVE HIM ON STAFF-
how's that paper circulation growing with this cracker-jack journalist, NYT?!?!!!

To put it horse race terms, Hillary had to use the whip to win this one. We'll see how the next furlong is run.

Maybe for the next primary, the media should wait until after the votes are in to tell us it's over? Just a thought.

She's not my candidate, but I'm glad Hillary won just to stick it to the media who hate her so. Hillary 1, Heathers 0.

THANK YOU NEW HAMPSHIRE WOMEN!
I think the boomer women of the Granite State got their dander up and marched to the polls after reading that headline about Hillary: "She's so yesterday."

Talk shows need to have more female pundits--and not just those blonde punderettes who have nothing original to say. Men just don't get it. They keeping using those ridiculous sport analogies while women are stirring the pots in the kitchen.

They threw the kitchen sink, they even threw the bathtub, guess what SHE'S STILL THAR, Edwards well he'll become an asterisk soon enough, then the fun really begins in the debates, no distractions no Kunich moments, no Biden flare ups, Just an empty suit trying to preform a balancing act of ignorance and incompetence.

You can hide behind the other candidates, but not now. Now he has to refine his pitch that he is a change candidate. (Ummm LOTSA LUCK) Now he gets to sound as stupid as he likes, the whole country will be listening. And pray tell where is he in the National Polls?? Languishing in Hill's dust

SLAP!! good morning Progressives, reality just hit hit your puckered up face.

Is Chris ever right? He's has the oddest enthusiasms which he forgets ever to mention again later. Who can forget his waxing nostalgic about missing the Vietnam war (it forges character)at the beginning of the Iraq *war*, how manly and strong President Bush looked in his flight suit on the USS Lincoln and what a great leader he was, what a terrific candidate Rudy is. I'd love to go back to 1967 to give him the chance to try his luck in the jungle.

Did you listen to Sean Hannity this afternoon?

This vicious punk-hack played tape of Sen. Clinton's emotional words with ``I Am Woman'' playing at the same time.

He was mocking her for being female.

Pricks like Hannity are valuable. They point up what creeps the right-wingers are and how their basic message is greed, sexism, racism and violence.

Some folks say Sen. Obama will deliver us from ``partisanship and division.''

Well, that might be nice.

Personally, I'd like to see an avenging Democrat who would sweep into office with a Democratic Congress, prosecute war criminals, convict war criminals, imprison war criminals and put a few of them to death.

But that's just me!

:)

Have a nice day, Hannity.
