Interior Design Genius and Friend Barclay Butera Opens His New Store in Los Angeles

We had the honor of celebrating with Barclay Butera at his fabulous new namesake store that has just opened on La Cienega in West Hollywood. Barclay is his brand, "classic, clean... with a contemporary twist," and the immaculate yet comfortable store reflects that with gray velvet covered sofas, cream armchairs, shag carpeting, sleek hurricane lanterns with silver rims, and seagrass wallpaper.

Barclay himself is a kind soul, a good listener (very important when thinking about who will collaborate with you on your home -- your sacred space!), brilliant, and gets things done. He is clearly passionate about what he does and as every piece in his line -- oh yes, he has several home furnishing lines -- is customizable, you will never risk feeling unoriginal. If working with Barclay personally isn't an option, shop his sensational collections which come at all price points and to suit any personality. We love them all, especially Modern Beach.

now really, is "fabulous" really a strong enough word for this , yes I will say it GENIUS!? Surely there must be somethign more oh, powerful, to convey the sheer, oh I don't know what, of blue piollows!!! I mean, after all, girls. This is the kind of thing that can literally save lives!

BB did the L'Auberge spa in La Jolla, which is ravishing. His candles rock too.
