Global Warming Heat Absorbed Mostly by Oceans Not Air, reports Dana Nuccitelli at Skeptical Science. Although air temperature appears stable for the past decade, data indicate that 90% of the extra heat goes into the oceans covering most of the planet. Meanwhile, short-term effects that dampen air absorption can fool many into thinking no warming is occurring at all.
